Herbert Coleman died on 11th March, 1915, after having been sent to a base hospital on the coast but it is not known if he died from wounds or from illness, both of which took their toll of the men on the Western Front.
14th Brigade of the Royal Field Artillery was a unit of Britain’s pre-war regular army and went to France in August 1914 as part of 4th Division. |
